These healthful "Radio Tips"

Dr. Roberts' Sunday morning radio program.


Many of us spent 4-5 weeks of the Holiday season over-eating, over-drinking and under-exercising. What is the best way to get our body and health back on track?

In one word — DETOXIFY. Our body is constantly detoxifying: breaking down waste products, chemicals, and bacterial byproducts.

The major chemical factory of the body is the LIVER. This is backed by the excretory organs of the skin, and intestines, and the filtering organs, the spleen and kidney.

Good health requires a healthy liver. Efforts to detoxify our body requires an understanding of the liver to know how we can maintain good health.

Things we can do to detoxify:

  • Stop alcohol consumption
  • Take a high potency multiple vitamin/mineral
  • At least 500mg of vitamin C per day
  • Milk thistle (Silymarin) protects the liver
  • Water-soluble fiber: apple, pear, psillium seed
  • Lipotropic agents: Betaine, Choline, Methionine, B6, Folic Acid, B12
  • 3-day Juice Fast: Friday to Sunday (so you can rest on the weekend):
    3-4 FRESH vegetable and fruit juice meals (8-12 oz) per day
  • Support the nerve supply to the liver with Chiropractic care
